Due to a breakthrough in Nanotechnology, the traditional Captek has been enhanced with 33% more density and strength to mimic and surpass natural teeth in esthetic and function. It is composed of 85% gold with a Platinum and Palladium internal reinforcement for use in more challenging applications where strength, accuracy, and predictability are necessary. The gold composite is a highly biocompatible material with no base metal and oxides which protect the gingiva from harmful bacteria. Captek offers the esthetics of a metal-free restoration and the strength of low or no gold PFM.
